Enhance Your Booth With New Light Boxes

The options for lighting your exhibit have come a long way in the trade show industry.  From the types of lights (stem, down, up, and spot) to the types of bulbs (fluorescent, incandescent, halogen, and now LED), lighting continuously becomes brighter, more efficient, safer, and easier to use.   The latest innovation in lighting has reinvented light boxes altogether.

In the past, light boxes and backlit panels needed to be constructed with deep profiles to allow for the proper spreading of light without hot spots.  These large structures took up precious floor space!  Additionally, fluorescent lights were often used either around the perimeter of the box or vertically on the back side of the box shining forward.  Installing these lights was a time consuming process and often lead to the breakage of the more fragile fluorescent lamps.

As technology has advanced, however, so has lighting and its applications.  The latest innovation is an LED strip, which allows light boxes to have a thinner, lower profile with a graphic that is evenly illuminated.

Thinner, lower profile: The new strips are designed to back light graphic structures as thin as 2” deep, and this works for both single-sided or double-sided graphics.  The strips directly mount to your aluminum frame, so no additional hardware is required.  With such a thin profile, that really opens up your floor space!

Even illumination: The strips feature high quality, pure white LEDs with custom selected lensing and drivers that allow light to spread evenly without hot spots on most materials.  LEDs are brighter, more durable, and last longer.  Your graphics will certainly shine for a long time with this uniform illumination.

A bonus of the LED Strip lighting is the plug and play design, which allows several fixtures to be interconnected and run off of a single external class II power supply.  Therefore, you will not have to order or pay for additional electrical drops!  And should you need to downlight or uplight an area, these strips work well to illuminate these areas, too.

Of course, safety is of utmost importance.  The entire lighting system (fixtures, cables and power supplies) are all UL Listed to provide the safest means possible to internally illuminate your graphic structures.
