Good Environmental Design starts with Inspiration and Strategy. The saying "Great Strategy Yields Great Results " is a philosophy that Apple Rock subscribes to its Award Winning Design. Our Highlighted Client this month is Homecare Homebase, the feature is their new Custom Build Branded Environment by Apple Rock. The inspiration was that their customers are their biggest fans, and a theme approach would allow them to standout in an industry of sameness. I applaud our Clients for having the courage to brand their environment conveying the enthusiasm their customers have for their products and technology. The staff exudes pride of customer satisfaction and the environment supports the fun they have making their clients successful. Congratulations to Homecare Homebase for being one of our five MarCom Award-winning branded environments!

tgivingThanks,
Eric

Apple Rock Total Event Services a Score for Homecare Homebase

Homecare Homebase

When the Apple Rock team met with valued and longtime client, Homecare Homebase, a software development firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas, there was a concerted effort to build a brand environment from scratch that exceeded the "wow" factor desired by the client. Homecare Homebase exhibits primarily in the National Association for Homecare and Hospice Show (NAHC) which this year happened to be in its own backyard of Dallas.

It was their goal to make a statement that they were a force to be reckoned with in the medical software industry. Homecare Homebase wanted to "go all out" and they consulted with their Apple Rock Design Consultant, Brett Smith to do just that. The Homecare Homebase booth in the past had a baseball stadium motif, but it was decided this year to emulate the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium in Irving.

This Apple Rock project was a complete ADAPT production, meaning it was a total Apple Rock design/build booth environment. The design was very tech savvy and included 12 - 42" LCDs, 2 - 50" LCDs, and a seamless square wall of 9 - 46" LCDs linked together and hung from the ceiling. The seamless wall played a video of new product introductions and company news. Apple Rock managed the entire video production process to ensure the Homecare Homebase brand was paramount in the message. It was essential to have the design be flexible allowing for alternation between the baseball motif and the football stadium design.

Also of note, up until this project, Homecare Homebase was a rental client. After consultation with Homecare Homebase, it was decided that Apple Rock was to do a cost analysis to determine if a booth purchase should be considered instead of the current rental program. After crunching the numbers, it was determined by Homecare Homebase that an outright booth purchase made the most sense.

The booth was 30' x 40' and emulated the current Dallas Cowboys stadium complete with logo astro turf floor, with fans looking down upon the "field". "Our customers are our biggest fans," commented Homecare Homebase C.O.O. Tom Maxwell, "and we wanted to incorporate a sense of our fans cheering us on." Also commenting on the Homecare Homebase environment, V.P. of Marketing Tricia Collom stated, "Apple Rock came to us with a dynamite idea to demo our software for the NAHC Show and we couldn't be happier with the results. It was a total Apple Rock effort from start to finish and their commitment to excellence showed." The design was so impressive, Apple Rock was awarded a 2010 Gold MarCom Award in the Trade Show Booth category for the Homecare Homebase exhibit.

QR Code Technology

qr-tech-newTrade show technology is ever evolving. Comparable to bar code technology on merchandise, QR Code Technology serves a similar purpose but takes it a step further providing a great deal of information about your company product. Apple Rock is tapping into this technology, allowing its exhibitors access to a detailed description of who has visited their booth, what product was viewed, and the contact information of the buyer. Through the use of Smart Phones, a quick scan of a products' QR code brings up a bevy of information for a buyer ranging from the products name, price, detailed description, and even video. 2011 looks to be a big year for Apple Rock and its QR technology application. Stay tuned in for more information as it becomes available!
