OCTOBER 12, 2010 – GREENSBORO, NC APPLE ROCK Advertising and Promotion, Inc. is pleased to announce their launch of a proprietary Smartphone Mobile Application at SHOWPLACE, the multi-tenant showroom building in the heart of the High Point Furniture Market, High Point, North Carolina. On October 16th, SHOWPLACE will be the first market building to ever offer this technology.
This App, known as SHOWPLACE Show Shopper, will be available for download and will be available to businesses using QR (Quick Response Codes) to communicate with smart phones. Apple Rock has partnered with Meticul Solutions of Dallas, TX to develop this App which enables trade show attendees/buyers to get their information faster, on a digital format. This technology captures information about the products and images of items that interest them on their smart phones. Major exhibitors participating in this free mobile BETA test of the Application include American Leather, Copeland, Revco, Elements, Surya, Bramble & Company, and BKind3. Companies that express an interest in the Application will have the ability to use the Application during the Spring High Point Furniture Market.
