About Us

Apple Rock Advertising and Promotions, Inc., dba Apple Rock Displays is one of the fastest growing display companies in the country.  Apple Rock began its operations as an in-house agency for Carolina Country RV.  Early in 1988, Jim Russell incorporated an in-house agency and named it JR Promotions.  Early in 1989, Eric Burg and Maxie Rowell were made partners of JR Promotions and the name was changed to Russell, Burg and Rowell, Inc.  The agency began working on trade shows and handling outside clients.  Russell, Burg and Rowell had the distinction of pioneering the first exclusive RV shows statewide in North Carolina.

Our History

In October of 1991, Eric Burg purchased the two partners shares and became sole owner of Russell, Burg and Rowell, Inc.  He promptly changed the name to Apple Rock Advertising and Promotion, Inc. after a scenic area in the Catskill Mountains that has always given him much inspiration and enjoyment.

In June of 1995, Apple Rock expanded it operations by opening a sales office in Raleigh, NC.  In August of 1997 the expansion continued with the opening of another sales office in Charlotte, N.C. 

Since 1988, Apple Rock has partnered with over 12,000 customers across the country helping them maximize their strategic face-to-face marketing programs.  Apple Rock produces and promotes event programs, and understands the intricacies of show promotion and event marketing programs.  Integrating our diverse products, coupled with our in-house fabrication, design and graphics capabilities has created great success for our clients. 

Our experience extends through engineering, structural design, graphic design, technology integrations, show management, event planning, logistical handling, warehousing, promotion and display maintenance.  Many years of experience have been a factor in our ability to deliver to our clients on a national and international basis.  We manage programs for clients who have national and international programs that require every service that we have to offer.  Showcasing high-end brands and products is our forte. 

Apple Rock Displays founded the Atlantic Display Alliance, formed with 8 companies, to create a strong band of service.  With the strength of 8 partners, we can optimize service levels beyond compare.  This highly unique business alliance is unheard of in our industry.  The profound level of mutual trust and respect between ADA company members fosters remarkable service to our clients.  We have had many instances when a potential client has had an emergency, and we were able to deploy full resources through combined, Alliance services.  Emergencies arise every day in the event marketing world, and we are prepared for that challenge.

Based in North Carolina, we are regionally able to deliver personalized service to our clients located in the Carolinas and surrounding states.  Our alliance with a host of manufacturers, as well as other exhibit houses, provides our clients with superior service, both nationally and internationally.  We are technically and geographically situated to provide personalized and convenient service when you need us.  We are at work when you need us – not just during regular business hours.
